Phase 2 – Expansion
1994 saw the next step in the growth of the company. The natural expansion into the rack and pinion driven construction hoist rental market took place. Through various acquisitions the stock of hoists was built into an extensive hire fleet and we were well on our way to establishing ourselves as a major player in the hoist hire industry. Phase 3 – Present Day
1997 saw the relocation into larger premises with increased office and yard space. Since 1998 the facilities at the offices and yard have been improved and staffing levels increased to undertake the increasing activity we are seeing, and to take the company forward. In supplying our customer’s needs we have been working with AlimakHek to produce new hoists, including a passenger hoist with a 6.2m long cage! Further hoists have been purchased to add to the extensive rental fleet, which presently consists of the following:
60 + Goods Only Hoists
150 + Passenger and Materials Hoists
20 + Beam Hoists
Another major addition to the ‘fleet’ is a purpose built new 28ft Scania lorry with 36m tonne remote control crane. This will give both our customers and ourselves more flexibility and an even better and competitive service.
