LATEST NEWS—Training

Throughout 2011 GB Access service engineers and some of the workshop engineers have been working towards gaining NVQ / QCF certification.

 

This has been successfully completed and 33 of our team now hold QCF Hoist Installer level 2 or NVQ level 3.

 

These competence certificates will be reflected in renewals of CSCS cards to the new standard showing the NVQ level awarded.

 

In response to a growing requirement from some customer sites some of our engineers have been trained on SSSTS courses to gain a more in-depth knowledge of the importance of ’soft skills’ within their everyday working lives. Further candidates will be put forward during 2012.

 

The increase in the amount of external training being undertaken by GB Access staff is part of our strategy to have training verified by an independent third party in line with current best practices.
